The book is a short story collection starring Kurt Wallander ( main character in the other books ) when he was young, it's nice to read about his past etc.<br /><br />I also completed the first sequence of my Halloweenspecial, it's a special episode of BRN-spijkers with as guests Kitzzzy ( from the baantjerforum ), Stephen King, Lenore and Ragamuffin, Edgar Allen Poe, think this one came out very well. Some quotes:<br /><br />Kitzzzy: Mr. King, I´m your number one fan, don´t worry, everything will be just fine.<br />Stephen: Dat zeiden er meer, wil je dat alsjeblieft niet zeggen, heb al een figuur gehad die zei I´m your number one fan.<br />Dick: Daar is toch niks mis mee?<br />Stephen: Wel als die persoon een week later de grootste fan van John Lennon blijkt te zijn en hem doodschiet.<br /><br />____________________________________________________________________________<br />Dick na het horen over de familie van Kitzzzy:<br /><br />Dick: Maar goed, ik wist niet dat je een overgrootmoeder in Maine had.<br />Kitzzzy: Jup, ze heeft last van irritante jongeren die haar zoeken met camera´s in het bos en ze is erg goed in het maken van stickpeople met touw en takjes.<br />Dick: Je bedoelt de blair Witch?<br />Stephen: Een heel vriendelijk vrouwtje, komt vaak bij mij en Tabitha op de thee, als ze haar verhalen uit zou geven zou ze zeker beroemd worden.<br />Raggamuffin: * Points at Kitzzzy * Witch, evil, pure evil.<br />Kitzzzy: Heksen zijn niet slecht, heksen zijn aardig, jongeren die haar in het bos lastig vallen of mensen uit Salem zijn slecht.<br />_________________________________________________________________________<br /><br />Stephen: Sorry, het licht moest uit, anders kon een goede vriend van me niet komen, hij is een bekend psychiater maar is bekender onder zijn andere naam.<br />Kitzzzy: De boeman!<br />Ragamuffin: Weet je wel waar je aan begint, dat beest is evil…<br />Kitzzzy: not pure evil.<br />Stephen: Die man had zijn kinderen zelf vermoord en wilde de boeman ervoor op laten draaien, de boeman pakte hem terug, snapte je het verhaal dan niet?<br />Ragamuffin: Evil, pure evil.<br /><br />Er klinkt een vreemd gedreun en er komt iets de studio in. I know have a week vacation and I am busy writing a halloween-special for BRN ( e-zine from the baantjerfanclub ). I also want to make a painting based on the character Desdemona in William Shakespeare's Othello. Also I have to many books that I haven't read yet so I'm very busy on the moment.
